Vimy Resources Limited (ASX: VMY) has upgraded the Ambassador Resource Estimate at its Mulga Rock Uranium Project located approximately 240km east northeast of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia (Figure 1).

Highlights include:
- Ambassador average uranium resource grade has increased by 30% from 469ppm to 610ppm U3O8;
- Ambassador mineral resource estimate has increased to 28.1Mt grading at 610ppm U3O8 for a contained 37.5Mlbs U3O8 representing a 33% increase in the contained metal of the previous resource estimate;
- Approximately 58% of the Ambassador resource is now in the Indicated Resource category totalling 13.0Mt at 750ppm U3O8 for 21.6Mlbs U3O8;
- Mulga Rock total Mineral Resource Estimate has now increased by 12% to 59.7Mt at 550ppm U3O8 for a contained 72.7Mlbs U3O8.
The Mulga Rock Uranium Project is 100% owned and operated by the company and is approximately 757km2 in area. The project comprises the Princess and Ambassador resources and will form the first stage of potential mine development.
