Triton Minerals Limited (ASX: TON) has implemented a binding off-take agreement with Chinese graphite products specialist Yichang Xincheng Graphite Co Limited for its Mozambique graphite (Figure 1).

Minimum total contract revenue of US$2,000,000,000 is assured by a floor price of US$1,000/tonne with the full contract value determined by the future sale price as set by the applicable market price.
Yichang Xincheng Graphite Co is located in Yichang, China. This region is known as the hydroelectric capital of the world and is one of China’s biggest enterprises for mineral processing.
The main graphite products produced by Yichang Xincheng Graphite Co include micro-powder graphite, high purity graphite, natural flake graphite, expandable graphite, amorphous graphite, flexible graphite sheet and roll (Figure 2).
These graphite products are widely used in petroleum, chemical, steel refining, electric power, metallurgy, machinery and aerospace.

The Balama North Project is located approximately 230km west of Pemba in northern Mozambique (Figure 1). The company has a 60% interest in the two granted exploration licenses EL 5966 and EL 5365. The Project has a maiden Inferred Mineral Resource estimate of 103 million tonnes at an average grade of 5.2% graphitic carbon containing 5.7 million tonnes of graphitic carbon.
