Silver City Minerals Limited (ASX: SCI) has commenced reverse circulation drilling at the Stephens Trig Zinc Project located 12km north of Broken Hill in New South Wales (Figure 1).

The drilling program comprises six shallow reverse circulation drillholes (60 metres to 120 metres in depth) and is designed to test the open pit potential of the Stephens Trig zinc deposit. The project is a joint venture with CBH Resources Limited, which own and operate the Rasp Mine at Broken Hill.
The Stephens Trig zinc deposit lies beneath alluvial cover in a low relief river valley system north of Broken Hill. The company has identified three mineralised lode horizons; Main Lode, East Lode and East 2 Lode.
Intercept highlights include:
- East 2 Lode – 43m to 57m at 0.5% lead and 1.9% zinc including 54m to 57m at 1.4% lead and 5.8% zinc
- Main Lode – 51m to 57m at 0.7% lead and 9.53% zinc
