Ramelius Resources Limited (ASX: RMS) has intersected significant high grade gold mineralisation at its 100% owned Blackmans Gold Project located 30km north of Mt Magnet in Western Australia (Figure 1).
Infill drilling intercepts include:
- 9 metres at 31.9g/t Au from 41 metres including 3 metres at 91.9g/t Au
- 7 metres at 4.53g/t Au from 53 metres including 1 metre at 28.2g/t Au
- 25 metres at 7.61g/t Au from 56 metres including 3 metres at 40.4g/t Au
- 18 metres at 2.44g/t Au from 59 metres including 1 metre at 18.7g/t Au
The infill reverse circulation drilling program was designed to test for lateral continuity to historical drilling of high grade gold mineralisation. The program comprised of 18 drillholes with a total of 1,311 metres completed.

Gold mineralisation at Blackmans can now be extended over at least 350 metres strike and is associated with surficial transported laterite overlying two subparallel steeply dipping lodes developed in oxidised ultramafic schists and clays.
Resource modelling and extensional exploration drilling will be undertaken during the March 2015 quarter.
