Today’s top performer was Platypus Minerals Limited (ASX: PLP) up 100% to close at $0.002. The company, formerly known as Ashburton Minerals, is a Perth based explorer focused on gold, copper and base metals exploration.
The worst performer of the day was IMX Resources Limited (ASX: IXR) down 36% to close at $0.021. The company announced that its Ntaka Hill Nickel Sulphide Project located in southeast Tanzania is the subject of a joint venture agreement with MMG Exploration Holdings Limited. MMG may earn up to a 60% interest by spending up to US$60 million over a five year period.
