Chrysalis Resources Limited (ASX: CYS) – $0.015
10 Nov 2014
Chrysalis Resources has received all copper and cobalt assay results from the 5,234 metres aircore drilling program at the Kimabwe Prospect within the Kabwima Project (99.9% interest) located in Zambia (Figure 1).
Significant drill intercepts include:
- 44m at 0.70% Cu from 6m to end of hole including 6m at 2.2% Cu from 44m to end of hole
- 28m at 0.26% Cu, 0.034% Co from 12m
- 16m at 0.29% Cu from 25m to end of hole including 4m at 0.43% Cu, 0.033% Co from 33m.
Drilling aimed to intercept supergene copper enrichment at approximately 50m below surface within or near a broad ENE-trending fault/shear zone coincident with the Kimabwe copper-in-soil anomaly. Drilling intercepted gabbro intrusives at the northern edge of the anomaly and interbedded shale, silicified siltstone and mica-quartz schist to the south.
The company will design a reverse circulation or diamond drill program to target beneath and along strike of the significant intercepts.
