Boadicea Resources Limited (ASX: BOA) – $0.300
04 May 2015
Boadicea Resources Limited (ASX: BOA) has commenced drilling at the Symons Hill Project located approximately 6km along strike from the Sirius Resources Limited’s (ASX: SIR) Nova-Bollinger Nickel Deposit in the Fraser Range of Western Australia (Figure 1).
Figure 1. Location of Symons Hill Project
A deep diamond drillhole (with reverse circulation precollar) of approximately 550 metres has commenced and is designed to intersect the Red Cap electromagnetic (EM) anomaly located 6km along strike from the Nova-Bollinger Nickel Sulphide Deposit (Figure 2).
Figure 2. Location of planned drillhole at Red Cap EM anomaly
The target is located on the margin of the gravity anomaly interpreted as dense mafic intrusive rocks and localised on a cross cutting fault and coincident with ultramafic lithologies and anomalous nickel. It appears to be located in a similar stratigraphic position to Nova-Bollinger and is related to a narrow ultramafic and sediment unit located on the margins of a gabbro-norite unit.
The company has defined a number of additional targets from the recent gravity survey. It has planned to further evaluate these targets once drilling has been completed.
